AI WORKFLOW COST CALCULATOR

Know your
AI costs.

A cheaper call is only useful if it does the job. Use your batch totals to calculate what you spend on each result that passes your checks.

What are you paying for a result?

Your numbers. Calculated in your browser.

Include retries, failed attempts and fallback calls.
Count each original task once, even when it needed retries. A task can contribute at most one accepted result.

CPM

Total spend ÷ accepted results. Calculated from your inputs.

This calculator describes the numbers you enter. It does not test a workflow or demonstrate a Keemlo improvement. Operating overhead and any Keemlo fee are included only if you add them to total spend. Your inputs stay in your browser.

UNDERSTAND YOUR TOTALS

Calls have a price.
Results have a cost.

What counts as an accepted result?

A complete output that passes the checks agreed for your task. For invoice extraction, that might mean every required field is correct and totals reconcile. Keep the checks consistent across the batch. If no results pass, cost per accepted result is unavailable, even when spend is zero.

Why show CPM and cost per accepted result?

CPM here means cost per 1,000 original tasks. Cost per accepted result also accounts for how many tasks produce a usable output. It is a similar shift to CPM versus CPA in advertising: moving from activity toward outcomes. A result passing a quality check is not evidence of a sale or other downstream business outcome.

How do I find out whether another setup is better?

Compare the current setup and alternatives on the same evaluation examples and quality checks. Include failures, retries, latency, ongoing overhead and implementation effort. This calculator alone cannot establish that an alternative is better.

What does the example represent?

The example uses a made-up batch of 10,000 tasks, $1,200 in spend and 8,000 accepted results to explain the calculation. It is not a Keemlo experiment, customer result or savings claim. Replace it with your own totals.
